Adding image groups

Use image groups to organize related images, such as the forms required for processing a client's tax return (W-2, 1099, and so on). Follow these steps to add an image group.

Note: Each document that you add must have a unique name within the current drawer, regardless of the folder association. For more information see What are "folders?"

  1. Choose Image > Image Groups.
  2. In the Drawer ID field, select the drawer to which you will add an image group.

Note: If you select multiple drawers, you can choose the Create uniquely named image groups option to create a new image group in the selected drawers even if an existing image group has the same name that you enter in the Image group field. You can also mark the Append images to existing image groups option to append the images to the image group that was selected or entered in the Image group field.

  3. Choose ‹New Image Group› from the Image Group field and enter a name for the group.

If you use this name again, you may want to save it to the custom list.

  4. In the Store Image Group in folder(s) list, mark the checkboxes for the folders in which you will store the image group.
  5. Click the Add Image to Group button and choose the appropriate command.
