Copy Multiple Images dialog

Use this dialog to assign multiple image files to the selected drawers, to specify document folders in which the images will be stored, and to either accept the default name for all images or to name them separately.

To open this dialog, choose Image > Copy From File, select more than one image by holding down either the SHIFT or CTRL key while clicking the images you want to store, and click the Select button.

Fields & buttons

Clicking this option enables the fields and buttons for choosing the drawers and folders in which you want to store all images, with their current file names. This option also allows you to either store images individually, or as an image group.

Shows the ID of the drawer (or "multiple" if multiple drawers are selected) that contains the folder into which the images will be inserted. To change the drawer, select a different drawer ID from this field.

Click this option to individually store in DT FileCabinet the images you selected.

Click this option to store the images you selected as an image group in DT FileCabinet.

If you selected the Combine images into an image group option, enter a name for the image group in this field, or choose a name from this field.

Undo back arrow

Click this button to revert to the name originally assigned to the current document, image, or object. This button is enabled only when you have entered a name other than the default name.

Plus symbol with a pencil

Click this button to save the current document, image, or object name to a custom list. See Adding and maintaining document, image, and object names in a custom list for more information on adding names to the custom list.

Mark the checkbox for each document folder in which you want to store the images. If you don't mark any checkboxes, DT FileCabinet stores the images in the {Not yet filed} folder.

Note: Folders used in the current drawer appear at the top of the folder list, followed by a separator line, and then followed by the list of remaining folders (those not in the current drawer).

Click this option to name each image separately and/or to select different folders and drawers for each image. If you click this option, the Copy Image dialog opens for each image that you selected, and the other fields and buttons in the Copy Multiple Images dialog are disabled.
