The DT FileCabinet toolbar is located at the top of your screen and is composed of buttons that you can click to quickly perform common tasks. If you don't know what a button does, you can position the mouse pointer over the button to view basic information.

New Drawer: Opens the New Drawer dialog, where you can add a drawer. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+N |

Drawer Properties: Opens the Drawer Properties dialog, where you can change the name of the selected drawer, enter an email address to populate the To field when sending documents from within the Send to Email dialog, add or edit the drawer password, add drawers to one or more families, edit drawer families, view drawer statistics, assign status for use with the Drawer list sort and focus features, and designate the client associated with the open drawer as a contributor to DT Staff Portal or DT Client Portal, if licensed. |

Scan Image: Opens the Scan Pages dialog, where you can scan documents for storage. Scanning requires a TWAIN- or WIA-compliant scanner. This button appears only when a TWAIN- or WIA-compliant scanner is installed on your computer. |

Document/Folder Properties: Displays properties for a document that is selected in the Folders window, including the name, date printed, and folders in which the document is stored. Also allows you to store the document in additional folders. When you highlight a folder in the Folders window, this button opens the Folder Properties dialog, where you can view the folder name and other statistics. You can click the stats button to view the total size of the contents of the folder, the number of documents by type, the number of backups, and the number of archives. |

Delete Document: Deletes the selected document. |

Back: Returns to the last screen you viewed. Keyboard shortcut: ALT+Left Arrow |

Forward: Moves forward to the next screen. Note: This button is available only after you click the Back button. Keyboard shortcut: ALT+Right Arrow |

Print: Opens the Print dialog, from which you can print forms and other documents. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+P |

Print Current Page: Prints the current page of a form or document. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+ALT+1 |

Send to Email: Opens the Send to Email Recipient dialog, from which you can email documents as PDF files. You can also click the adjacent arrow to open either the Send to Email Recipient dialog or the Send to File Location dialog. |

DT Connect : Opens the DT Connect dialog, through which you can place a call to our network of secure data centers to download updates. You can also transmit data to NetClient (if licensed). Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+K |

Opens the DT Firm Portal login page. Note: This button is available only if your firm is licensed for DT Client Portal. |

Help: Opens the Help & How-To Center, where you can find answers to your DT FileCabinet questions. |

Fit Page to View Size: Shows the entire document in the Watch window. Click this button again to return the document to its previous size. |

Cycle Zoom: Cycles through the available size options for the current document. Clicking several times will cycle through magnifications of 25, 50, 100, 200, and 400 percent. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+M |

Rotate Left: Rotates the view of an image 90 degrees counterclockwise. This button is available only when viewing a document or other image file that was scanned directly into DT FileCabinet. Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+R |

First Page: Click this button to view the first page of a multiple-page document. Note: This button is not available if the current document consists of only one page. |

Previous Page: Click this button to view the previous page of a multiple-page document. Note: This button is not available if the current document consists of only one page. |

Next Page: Click this button to view the next page of a multiple-page document. Note: This button is not available if the current document consists of only one page. |
