Designating an existing drawer

To designate an existing drawer as a contributor to DT Client Portal, follow these steps.

  1. In the Folders window, highlight the desired drawer.
  2. Choose File > Drawer Properties.
  3. Mark the Designate this drawer as a contributor to DT Client Portal checkbox.
  4. Click OK.

Designating a new drawer

To designate a new drawer as a contributor to DT Client Portal, follow these steps.

  1. Choose File > New Drawer.
  2. In the New Drawer dialog, mark the Designate this drawer as a contributor to DT Client Portal checkbox.
  3. Continue adding information for the new drawer as normal.

Notes

  • The Designate this drawer as a contributor to DT Client Portal checkbox is available only for users licensed for DT Firm Portal.
  • When a drawer has been designated as a contributor to DT Client Portal a {DT Client Portal} folder appears in the Folders window for the drawer if the drawer already has documents present. If the drawer does not have documents present, the {DT Client Portal} folder appears as soon as a document is stored for the drawer.
