To renumber an asset within the current business activity, perform the following steps.

1. Open the desired client and, if necessary, click an activity folder.
2. Select the asset you want to renumber and click the Modify button.
3. Highlight the number in the Asset # field and enter a new number that is not already assigned to an asset in this activity. (The application warns you if you attempt to use an assigned number.)
4. Click Done.
5. If you entered a number that is already assigned to an asset in this activity, the application prompts you to confirm that you want to renumber both assets. If you click Yes, the asset chosen in step 2 will be assigned the number entered in step 3, and the asset that was originally assigned that number will be assigned the number that was originally assigned to the asset chosen in step 2.
