Use the following procedures to import asset data from other applications that we have committed to converting into Fixed Assets CS.

1. Open the desired client in Fixed Assets CS.
2. Choose Utilities > Import Asset Data > ASCII file.
3. In the Import Asset Data dialog, verify or change the location of the import file.

   Notes

   • If you're running Fixed Assets CS through Virtual Office CS or Software as a Service (SaaS), you can navigate to files on your local network.
   • To limit the number of files that appear in the Name of file to be imported drop-down list, mark the Only include files with DSW extensions checkbox.
4. Select the name of the CSV file to be imported and click the Import button.
