Fixed Assets CS

Note: The Fixed Assets Inventory module is licensed separately from Fixed Assets CS.
When an asset's barcode label is scanned, Fixed Assets CS searches for the asset in the Inventory module. If the asset is located, the asset's inventory status changes to "Found - not changed." If the asset is not located, a new asset is created in the Inventory module. Follow this procedure to scan an asset's barcode label in an active inventory.
- Open a client.
- Open an active inventory in the Fixed Assets Inventory module.
- In the Fixed Assets Inventory module, configure the barcode scanner's settings if you have not already done so.
- Scan an asset's barcode label.
