Use the Presentation tab to change the default presentation settings. You can specify a different sorting sequence; whether to include subtitles, subtotals, and/or page breaks following each sort criteria in the printed report; whether to sort case sensitively; whether to print in ascending or descending order; and whether to print only subtotals and totals for the report.

This tab can be accessed one of two ways.

  • From the Print dialog, click the Options button and then click the Presentation tab.
  • From the Custom Reports dialog, select the report or form and then click the Options button.

Fields & buttons

Summarize report - print report's subtotals and totals only

Mark this checkbox to print only subtotals and totals for the report.

When this checkbox is marked, no asset detail prints on the report. In addition, the Sort by and Then by drop-down lists only include the sort criteria for which subtotals are available.

Note: This checkbox is not available for Property Detail reports.

Sort by / Then by

Use the first (left) drop-down list to select a category of sort criteria. Use the second (right) drop-down list to make a selection that pertains to that category.

Note: Enter the most significant sort criteria in Sort by fields, followed by sort criteria in descending order of significance in the Then by fields.

Subtitle

Mark this checkbox if you want your report to display subtitles for each sort criteria (entered in the Sort by and Then by fields to the left).

Note: The availability of this checkbox depends on the selections you made in the Sort by and Then by fields.

Subtotal

Mark this checkbox if you want your report to display subtotals after each sort criteria (entered in the Sort by and Then by fields to the left).

Note: The availability of this checkbox depends on the selections you made in the Sort by and Then by fields.

Page Break

Mark this checkbox if you want to insert a page break after the specified sort criteria (entered in the Sort by and Then by fields to the left).

Note: The availability of this checkbox depends on the selections you made in the Sort by and Then by fields.

Case Sensitive

Mark this checkbox to have Fixed Assets CS sort a specific sort criteria case sensitively. That is, entries for a specific sort criteria will sort alphanumerically starting with all entries in which the first letter is capitalized. Any entries that begin with a lowercase letter will sort alphanumerically after this.

Note: This checkbox is not available if the sort criteria is numeric or in the MMDDYY format.

Ascending / Descending

Mark this checkbox to have Fixed Assets CS sort a specific sort criteria in ascending (A - Z) or descending (Z - A) order.
