While editing a GoFileRoom document, it is possible that you might be interrupted due to a system crash, power loss, or loss of network connectivity. In these situations, you can use the following steps to possibly recover the document.

Best practice recommends that you save often to safeguard you against the failure events previously mentioned.

You can always save your progress back to GoFileRoom and then continue editing the document later using the following information.

Microsoft Word or Excel

  1. Click the GoFileRoom toolbar.
  2. Click the Save to GoFileRoom button.
  3. Click Save to GoFileRoom and keep working. In the event of lost network connectivity, you can click Save Locally and keep working until your network connection is restored.
  4. Click OK.

Adobe Acrobat PDF

  1. Click Save Back to GoFileRoom.
  2. Click Save to GoFileRoom and keep working.
  3. Click OK.
