Follow these steps to add links to GoFileRoom documents from within Word or Excel documents.

  1. Open a Microsoft Word or Excel document.
  2. In the GoFileRoom toolbar, click the Insert Link button. Log in to GoFileRoom, if prompted.
  3. Enter the indexes required to locate the documents you want to link to, right-click, and choose Insert Link(s) from the context menu.
  4. Enter text in the Text to Display and/or Tool Tip field, if desired, then click OK.

    Note: These fields are optional. If no text is entered in these fields, the link will display the URL of the document(s) to which you are linking.
