As part of our enhanced security measures, access to CS Professional Suite applications require login credentials. Firm product licensing will determine which login credential type will be used. For details, see Logging in to CS Professional Suite applications. When defining a password, strength requirements must meet guidelines defined by the IRS and expires after no more than 90 days.

Desktop only: CS Professional Suite applications

Desktop or network installations of CS Professional Suite applications that do not use NetFirm portals will utilize Thomson Reuters ID login credentials (tax.tr.com) to access CS Professional Suite applications. The password for this account will expire after 90 days, and must be reset. If unable to connect to the Internet when a password expires, you will be prompted to change it once you reconnect.

When a password is within three days of expiration, CS Professional Suite applications will generate a notification alerting to the number of days left before the current password expires. You can choose to change it right away by clicking the Change My Password button or can update the Web account password on our website at your convenience. For assistance, see Resetting or updating the password associated with your Thomson Reuters ID account. Show me.
