Implement multi-factor authentication for your Thomson Reuters ID

Alerts and notices

Use the following steps to implement multi-factor authentication for your Thomson Reuters ID. If you are licensed for NetFirm CS, see Implementing multi-factor authentication for your NetStaff account.

  1. Enable multi-factor authentication for your Thomson ID, which includes pairing your mobile device.

Note: If you are a firm administrator and want to make multi-factor authentication a requirement for all staff, see Managing multi-factor authentication requirements for all staff (CS Web Accounts).

  2. Open your CS Professional Suite applications and you will receive a prompt to verify your identity (via a single question) on your mobile device. You will receive a prompt any time your Thomson Reuters ID is required.
