Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) after resetting or purchasing a new phone or other mobile device

If you lose your phone, trade it in, get a new mobile device, or reset your current device to factory settings, you can either pair an additional device with your account to ensure continued access to your applications, or complete the steps below to enable multi-factor authentication on the new device. 

  1. Install the Thomson Reuters Authenticator or another third-party authenticator app on the new device.
  2. Unpair the old device from your account.
  3. Set up multi-factor authentication to link your account on the new device.
