Viewing files in a NetClient CS user’s personal or shared File Exchange folders

Show expandable text

If you have access to File Exchange and NetClient CS administration, you can view the files that are in NetClient CS users’ shared and personal File Exchange folders.

  1. In the NetStaff CS tab of the navigation pane, click the File Exchange link.

Note: If you don’t see this link, you don’t have access to File Exchange.

  2. In the File Exchange View field near the upper-right corner of the screen, enter any part of the NetClient CS users’ name or login and select the NetClient CS user.

The user’s personal and shared File Exchange folders appear in the File Exchange screen.

Tip: Delete the entry from the Find field to view the full list of users.

  3. Click the folder that contains the file you want to view.

Note: Depending on the folder structure, you may need to navigate through additional sub-folders to access the desired folder.

  4. Click the name of the file.

Tip: If you cannot see files that should be in the folder, you might need to delete your temporary internet files or cached files.

Depending on how your computer is configured, you will either be prompted to save the file to your hard drive or the file will open automatically in the appropriate application.
