Citrix error 2320: ClientHostedApps lockdown requirements

Show expandable text

Error "Citrix online plug-in Configuration Manager: No value could be found for (ClientHostedApps) that satisfies all lockdown requirements. The lockdown requirements in force may be conflicting."

Warning: Thomson Reuters recommends having a qualified technician make registry changes as problems with the registry can cause serious problems with the operating system. It is also recommended that you backup the registry before making changes to it.

This is documented as a Citrix issue at http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX132875. As with any registry change, this is done at the users own risk and we advise they export the selected string prior to deletion.

This issue can be due to incorrect settings remaining in the registry after Citrix was removed and then reinstalled. If after uninstalling and reinstalling Citrix, the error continues to occur, perform the following steps:

  1. Access Registry Editor through Start | Run/Search | regedit.
  2. Navigate to the following registry keys to determine if ClientHostedApps exists, if so, delete the key.

32-Bit System:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Virtual Channels\Control

64-Bit System:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Virtual Channels\Control

32-Bit/64-Bit System:

HKCU\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Lockdown Profiles\All Regions\Lockdown\Virtual Channels\Control
