Viewing the status of a web organizer

This feature is only available to firms that are licensed for NetFirm CS and UltraTax CS.

  1. In the Admin tab of the navigation pane, click the My Tax link in the NetClient CS section.

    Note: If you don't see these items, you don't have access to this area.

  2. In the All Clients pane of the My Tax screen, enter any part of the client's first name, last name, or client ID in the Find field.

    One of the following statuses appears in the Organizer Status column.

    Note: The Organizer Status column does not apply to the printable PDF organizer.

    Status Definition
    New Organizer Indicates that you have pushed this organizer from UltraTax CS to the client's portal, but the client has not yet updated the data.
    In Progress

    Indicates that the client has updated the organizer.

    The organizer status will remain "In Progress" until the client marks the Complete Organizer checkbox.

    Completed

    Indicates that either the client or a NetFirm CS administrator marked the checkbox in the Complete Organizer column for this organizer.

    CS Connect checks for completed organizers regularly and stores all completed organizers until you are ready to retrieve them.

    Retrieved Indicates that either the client or a NetFirm CS administrator completed the organizer, and the organizer data has been retrieved into UltraTax CS. To learn more about retrieving data, see the UltraTax CS topic Retrieving data from web client organizers.
    Unknown Condition Usually indicates that NetFirm CS has encountered an orphan record (one with incomplete organizer information) that may have resulted in an error while uploading the organizer.
    In Use Indicates that the client is working in the organizer.
