Licensed users of the CBS Master License, CBS Accounts Payable, and NetFirm CS can enter payables and upload them to NetClient CS portals for clients to review and authorize. Once a client authorizes payments, you import the authorizations and merge the client’s selections with your selections in the CBS Accounts Payable data.

Note: Remote Authorization is a billable module (some exceptions may apply).

Preparing to give NetClient CS users access to Remote Authorization

Note for local installations of CBS: To use Remote Authorization, you must be licensed for and have installed the latest version of Client Bookkeeping Solution. To obtain the latest version, you must download and apply the latest updates from CS Connect.

Before you can indicate which NetClient CS users have access to Remote Authorization for a particular client company, you must upload payables from CBS to NetClient CS using the Upload Open Payables option in CBS. Once you have done this, you can give NetClient CS users access to Remote Authorization for the appropriate client companies.

Additional information

To learn about remote payment authorization processes that are completed within CBS Accounts Payable, open CBS, open the company database for which Remote Authorization has been enabled, choose Utilities > Remote Authorization > Upload Open Payables, and press CTRL+F1.
