If your firm pushed payroll worksheets from Payroll CS (CSA), you can view the status of a remote payroll client’s payroll entry worksheet through NetFirm CS administration.

  1. In the Admin tab of the navigation pane, click the Remote Payroll (CSA) link in the NetClient CS section.

Note: If you don’t see this link, you don’t have access to this area.

  2. In the Remote Payroll Clients pane, enter any part of the client’s name in the Find field to locate the client and then select the client.

Note: The Remote Payroll Clients pane lists CSA clients for whom you pushed payroll entry worksheets. This pane does not list Accounting CS clients.

One of the following statuses appears in the Status column.

    Status Definition
New Indicates that your firm exported a payroll entry worksheet, but the payroll administrator at the client site has not yet accessed it.
In Progress Indicates that the payroll administrator at the client site has accessed the payroll entry worksheet, but he has not yet clicked the Complete button.
Completed Indicates that the payroll administrator at the client site clicked the Complete button.
Retrieved Indicates that either the payroll administrator at the client site or a NetFirm CS administrator completed time entry, and a member of your firm retrieved the time entry into CSA.
Unknown Condition Usually indicates that NetFirm CS has encountered an orphaned record (one with incomplete information) that may have resulted in an error when sending the payroll entry worksheet.
In Use Indicates that a NetClient CS user is working in the payroll entry worksheet.
