The steps required to delete temporary internet files or clear the cache vary by browser.

Google Chrome

To deleted cached files in Chrome, follow these steps.

  1. Click the Customize and control Google Chrome Settings button button in the upper-right corner of the window and choose More tools > Clear browsing data.
  2. In the Obliterate the following items from field, select the beginning of time.
  3. Mark the Cached images and files checkbox.
  4. Click the Clear browsing data button.

Microsoft Internet Explorer

To delete temporary internet files from Internet Explorer, follow these steps.

  1. In Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options, or click the Tools Settings button button and choose Internet Options.
  2. In the Browsing history section of the General tab, click the Delete button.
  3. In the Delete Browsing History dialog, verify that the Temporary Internet files checkbox is marked and clear all other checkboxes.
  4. Click the Delete button. It may take a few moments for Internet Explorer to delete the files.
  5. Click OK to close the dialogs.

Mozilla Firefox

To delete temporary internet files from Firefox, follow these steps.

  1. Click the Open menu Open menu button button in the upper-right corner of the window and click the History icon.
  2. Click Clear Recent History.
  3. In the Time range to clear field, select Everything.
  4. Verify that the Cache checkbox is marked and clear all other checkboxes.
  5. Click the Clear Now button.
