If any of the CS Professional Suite applications doesn't open but you see the application's icon on the taskbar, follow the steps below:

  1. While the application is minimized on the taskbar, hold the Shift key on your keyboard and right-click on the application icon on the taskbar.
  2. Choose Maximize.

Note: If you do not see the Maximize option, choose Restore instead.

This issue is often caused from closing and opening applications when switching between different monitor setups. Many applications will attempt to open on the same monitor they were last closed from.

For example, you have an office computer with dual/multiple monitors and a home computer with only one monitor. You closed an application from the secondary monitor at your office computer and when you open that application on your home computer, it attempts to open on that secondary monitor that doesn't exist.

To prevent this issue from occurring, close the application from the primary monitor when you know you will be accessing it later with a different monitor setup.

On Windows 10, if the above steps do not work:

  1. Right-click on your desktop and choose Display settings.
  2. Click Display in the menu on the left.
  3. Select each monitor and use the Change the size of text, apps, and other items slider to set the same DPI percentage for all monitors.
  4. Sign out of Windows and back in.
