Using Checkpoint Tools and PPC’s SMART Practice Aids in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment gives you convenient, 24/7 access to the profession’s best guidance.

Before you can open applications in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment, you must download and install the Citrix Workspace.

Checkpoint Tools

If your firm subscribes to Checkpoint applications and your firm’s NetStaff CS administrator added the Checkpoint Tools icon to your Virtual Office CS screen or enabled a SaaS profile with Microsoft Office, you can run Checkpoint applications in the Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment. PPC’s SMART Practice Aids

If your firm subscribes to PPC’s SMART Practice Aids applications and your NetFirm CS administrator contacted CS Customer Service to request that we add those applications to your firm’s Virtual Office CS or SaaS environment, you can access your firm’s licensed PPC’s SMART Practice Aids applications through your portal. If a call comes into Web support for PPC products on VO/Saas (Checkpoint Tools, SMART Practice Aids, or SMART Single Audit) do the following:

  • If the issue is a locked client engagement, work with the Web Consultant to unlock it. 
  • If it is general questions about using Checkpoint Tools for PPC, transfer them to the Checkpoint Tools queue (CSS_TP_Cont_Sup_CKPTTools_Q). The phone menu for this queue is 800-431-9025, Options 3-2-1.
  • If it is general questions about using SMART, transfer them to the SMART queue (CSS_TP_UserSrv_SmartPracAids_Q). The phone menu for this is 800-431-9025, Options 3-6.
