To clear any user locks on plans or client letters:

  1. Choose Help > Clear Locks to open the Clear Locks dialog.

    Note: This command is only available when no plan is currently open.

  2. Choose which option you want to use for clearing locks:
    • Clear locks set by a specific user. If you choose this option, the Specify the user field becomes active. Enter the name of the user from whom you want to clear locks.
    • Clear ONLY template letter locks. Choosing this option clears all template letter locks on all computers.
    • Clear all locks. Choosing this option clears all user locks.
  3. When finished, click the Clear Locks button.
