Layout Designer dialog > Col header tab

Use this tab of the Layout Designer dialog to change the font of the column header, and to add column lines and footers.

To open this dialog and tab, choose Reports > Report Layouts and click the Col header tab.

Note: To enable the fields in this dialog, highlight a layout in the list and click the Edit button, or click the Add button to add a new layout.

Fields & buttons

Column header group box

Font

This field displays the selected font. To change the font, click the Font button.

Size

This field displays the point size for the selected font. To change the point size, either enter the size in this field or click the Font button.

Note: You cannot change the font size when the <System> or <Tax Projection> layout is selected.

Font button

Click this button to open a dialog in which you can change fonts, font styles, sizes, and effects.

Bold

Mark this checkbox to display bold font.

Italic

Mark this checkbox to display italic font.

Underline

Mark this checkbox to display underlined font.

Other fields & buttons

Print column footers

Mark this checkbox to print footers for the columns in the report.

Note: This option is not available when the <System> or <Tax Projection> layout is selected.

Vertical column lines

Mark this checkbox to print vertical lines in the columns in the report.

Column header background

Enter a value for the percentage of gray to appear for the column header background. The value can range from 0 (no gray) to 100 (black).
