Setting up contact category groupings

To add a new contact category grouping, follow these steps.

  1. Choose Setup > Groupings > Contact Categories.
  2. Click the Add button.
  3. Enter an ID for the contact category in the ID field.
  4. Enter a description for the contact category in the Description field. There is a limit of 30 characters.
  5. Click Enter to save your changes.

Categories you create are available in the Contact Info tab in the Firm, Offices, Staff, and Clients setup screens.
