Frequently asked questions

Question Answer

Will trial licenses overwrite non-trial licenses? What if the non-trial license is expired? No, a trial license will never overwrite a non-trial license. The same is true for expired licenses.
Can the trial be installed on a network? Yes, trials can be installed on a network.
Can multiple users access the trial version and data? Yes, trial versions allow for multiple users.
Can users use the clients they set up in trial on their full version? Yes.
Do I need to uninstall the trial version before using the full version? No.
What happens to the data entered into the trial licensed modules? Licensed users need to enter their data into a blank database or create a new blank database. If they enter the data into the sample or demo databases, it may be overwritten with future installations.
We are licensed for the application but not the add-on modules. Can we install trial licenses for those modules so we can evaluate them with our full installation? Yes. Choose Help > About Practice CS > Trial Licenses.
