Due to major legislative changes for Report Year 2014, the Texas Comptroller's office asked us to notify you that the Long Form (05-158) and Credit Schedule (05-160) reports for Report Year 2014 will not be accepted on any previous year forms. Those that they do receive on previous year's forms will be mailed back to the taxpayer (not the tax preparer) and they will be required to file their report on the 2014 forms. For annual reports, the Accounting Year end date cannot be greater than January 4 of the report year being filed .(e.g.Reporting Year = 2013, accounting year end date cannot be greater than January 4, 2013. Anything greater than that would be reported on Report Year 2014 due May 15, 2014)
