MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

To enter a W-2 with Combat Pay Exclusion, do the following:

  1. In Screen W2, click the statement dialog button for the Box 12 field, and enter code Q (Nontaxable combat pay) in the Code field.
  2. In Screen 1040, select the appropriate military zone from the IRS-specified list in the Special processing fieldview.
