MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

UltraTax CS provides a list of all the fields in the current client's return that were affected by shared data updates from other UltraTax CS clients. This list provides helpful information about each data sharing update, including the source application and client, the affected field and data category, and the date, time, and user ID associated with the shared data update.

To view, print, or export this list, complete the following steps.

  1. With the appropriate client's return open, choose Utilities > Data Sharing > Imported Fields Listing.
  2. The Imported Fields listing dialog displays a list of all shared data that was accepted into the current client's return. You can do any of the following:
    • Highlight an updated field in the list pane and click the Go To Input Screen button to jump directly to the affected field in the client's return.
    • Click the Preview or Print buttons to print a copy of the report to your default printer.
    • Click the Export button to save the report as a .DIF file on your local drive or network.
    • If you are licensed for FileCabinet CS, click the To Cabinet button to export the shared data report to the client's drawer in that application.
  3. If you didn't visit the input screen, print the report, or export it, click Cancel to close the Imported Fields Listing dialog.
