Use the state tabs at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window to enter state-specific apportionment information. State tabs appear only if you have added states to the return and if additional apportionment information is required.

To enter state-specific apportionment information, click the appropriate state tab at the bottom of the Apportionment Information window.

Fields & buttons

General information group box

UltraTax CS uses the information you enter in this group box to complete form fields and answer questions that are not addressed in the Apportionment spreadsheet.

If the taxpayer is a domesticated foreign corporation, mark this checkbox to calculate 100 percent for the net worth ratio.

If the taxpayer is a foreign corporation, enter the Georgia amount for total value of property owned to calculate the net worth ratio for Georgia.

Alternative apportionment group box

Use the fields in this group box to use alternate apportionment for this state. The information you enter in these fields takes precedence over any entries in the Apportionment spreadsheet for this state.

Use this field if the taxpayer is authorized by the Department of Revenue to use an alternative method to calculate apportionment.

Click this button to open the Interstate Transportation dialog.

Financial institution group box

Use the fields in this group box to enter apportionment information for Form 900.

UltraTax CS transfers the amounts entered in these fields to the Gross Receipts fields on Form 900, Schedule 8. The amounts you enter in these fields take precedence over amounts entered in the Sales spreadsheet.
