Question

Why do some of my returns have the numeric value "1120 US 2" after the entity type in the Entity column in the Electronic Filing Status dialog?

Answer

The numeric value signifies the tax year end is a fiscal year end return. The "2" in the value indicates the return has a February year end. This is to accommodate more than one return in a tax year, such as two short year returns.
