MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Perform the following steps to view an on-screen explanation of how depreciation was calculated for an asset in the asset module.

  1. Open the Asset List window for an activity.
  2. Select the desired asset and click the Modify button.
  3. Choose Tasks > Display Calculation or click the column heading for the desired treatment to open the Display Calculation dialog.
  4. In the Display Calculation dialog, the application displays the calculation for the column in the Depreciation tab in which the cursor was located when you chose to view the calculation. (If the cursor was not in the Depreciation tab, the application displays the calculation for the Tax column.) To view the depreciation calculation for a different column, click that column's tab at the top of the dialog.

Note: If the calculated depreciation was automatically limited for any reason, a commentary line is present at the bottom of this dialog.

  5. Click the Close button to return to the Asset List window.
