MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

You can use the Data Mining utility to print or email the Bank Account Verification worksheet for multiple 1040 clients.

  1. In UltraTax CS, choose Utilities > Data Mining.
  2. Under Step 1, select 1040 Individual from the Client database drop-down list. 
  3. Click the Continue (Step 2) button. 
  4. In the Print selection group box, select Letters from the drop-down list. 
  5. Select Bank Account Verification from the Available to print pane.

    Notes

    • The application supplies the appropriate search criteria in the Criteria window to identify all 1040 clients that have account information entered on Screen Bank, but have not completed the Taxpayer verified all bank information by field.
    • To print the letter for the following tax year, select Bank Account Verification - Next Year. The search criteria will identify all 1040 clients that have account information entered on Screen Bank, regardless of the entry of the selection in the Taxpayer verified all bank information by field.
  6. Click the Select button to move Bank Account Verification to the Selected print pane.
  7. Click the Continue (Step 3) button.
  8. After the search is complete, one of the following scenarios will occur.
    • If no clients pass the search, the Search Results dialog automatically opens.
    • If one or more clients pass the search, the Print dialog opens and the Bank Account Verification worksheet can be printed or emailed. You may also view the search results by clicking the Search Results button.
