MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

To enter an APO / DPO / FPO address for an electronically filed return, do the following:

  1. Open the 1040 client's return.
  2. Open Screen 1040 in the General folder.
  3. In the Residence Information section, enter APO, DPO, or FPO in the City field.
  4. Enter AA (APO/DPO/FPO Miami), AE (APO/DPO/FPO New York), or AP (APO/DPO/FPO San Francisco) in the State field.
  5. Enter 1 (APO/DPO/FPO) in the Address indicator field.
