Question

Where do I indicate that income from Schedule C or F is not self-employment income and therefore not subject to self-employment tax?

Answer

In Screen C, enter 3 in the Self-employment code field and in Screen F, enter X in the Exclude farm income from self-employment tax field. Taxable income from these activities will not be subject to self-employment tax.
