The Filing Status Optimization Utility does not split Organizer data when creating the new, separate tax returns. Therefore, Organizer data entry is not available in the newly created clients. To work around this, you can make a copy of the Married Filing Joint return by choosing File > Save As and renaming the client, and then removing spouse information from the return manually.

Note: If any of the married filing separate clients are proforma'd into next year's version of UltraTax CS, the organizer data entry will be available.
