MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Thomson Reuters is committed to proactively evolving our security features to help you protect your firm and your clients' data. For more information about multi-factor authentication, see Multi-factor authentication overview.

To ensure compatibility with all supported email applications, UltraTax CS sends email greetings in plain text format, which does not support text formatting. (Adding formatting such as bold or italicized text to the email greeting can cause problems with the legibility of the greeting. If you have changed the formatting, returning the text to the default Times New Roman, 11 point font will help resolve any formatting issues.)

The appearance of the email greeting is determined by your client's email application and the size of the window that displays the email. This is a function of the client's email application and not a limitation of UltraTax/1040 Client Organizer.
