MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

Complete the following steps to print, email, or transmit blank organizers globally for all new clients who do not have proforma'd information. Note that this procedure applies only to Classic and Lite Organizer packages. You can also customize the blank organizer package to determine which forms you would like it to include. 

  1. Choose Setup > 1040 Individual > Organizer tab.

    Note: Depending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password. Click OK to continue.

  2. Mark the Print blank Client Organizer checkbox in the New Client Options group box.
  3. Click OK. All new clients added after marking this option will have an X in the Print blank client organizer field on Screen Contact.


  • This option can be overridden on a client-by-client basis by clearing the Print blank client organizer checkbox in the client's Screen Contact.
  • To print, email, or assemble the default blank organizer packages, you must first add the client to UltraTax CS.
  • This option will proforma automatically from the prior-year version of UltraTax CS.
