Complete the following steps to set additional options specific to UltraTax/1040 Client Organizer. These global options apply to all 1040 Client Organizers, and include settings that enable you to set a due date for clients to return completed organizers, select a client organizer presentation (Classic, Checklist, or Lite), mask SSNs, driver's licenses, EINs, and bank account information, specify a default organizer delivery method for all new clients, and more. 

  1. Choose Setup > 1040 Individual and click the Organizer tab.

    Notes

    • Depending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password and click OK before you can continue.
    • The Other return options apply to all 1040 Client Organizer clients.
    • Use the Setup > 1040 Individual > Federal tab to set other options for all 1040 clients and/or new 1040 clients.
  2. Click the Modify button in the Organizer presentation options group box to select the applicable options. (See Options dialog for more information about the checkboxes and options in this dialog.)
  3. Mark the applicable checkbox in the Organizer tab to select an option.

Notes

  • You should confirm that the forms you choose to include in the blank Client Organizer meet the criteria for the type of organizer package (classic or lite) you have chosen. For more information about the criteria used for printing, refer to the Client Organizer Print Options PDF.
  • To set or override these options on a client-by-client basis, mark or clear the Print blank Client Organizer field in Screen Contact in the General folder.
