Question

Which UltraTax/1065 forms are not included in the partnership return electronic file?

Answer

The following forms are available in UltraTax/1065 but are not included in the partnership return electronic file. The forms are not included because either the forms are filed to the IRS separately from Form 1065, 1065-B, or 8865, or the IRS has not yet released updated schemas.

Note: Forms 3115, 8832, and 8886 are filed twice. One copy is attached to Form 1065 and the second copy (if required) is filed separately directly with the IRS. The copy filed with Form 1065 is included in the electronic file. The second copy is not electronically filed and must still be separately paper filed with the IRS.
