MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

You can set options for new and existing clients in the 2290 Product Information dialog.

Choose Setup > 2290 Heavy Vehicle Use Tax to open the 2290 Product Information dialog.

Notes

  • Depending on your security configuration, you might be prompted to enter the master password and click OK before you can continue.
  • Any option that you select in the Document format group box applies to all new and existing 2290 clients.

New Client Options

Click the New Client Options button to set options for your new 2290 clients subsequently added to UltraTax CS.

Note: If you clear an option in the New Client Options dialog, existing 2290 clients are not affected. If you need to update existing 2290 client options, open each return and edit the options accordingly.

Other Return Options

Click the Other Return Options button to set options for new and existing 2290 clients.

Note: By default, the watermarked Schedule 1 will save to a specified location on your hard drive or network. To change this location, click the Browse browse button next to the 2290 Schedule 1 PDF location, navigate to the desired location, and click OK.
