What information is included in the Excel spreadsheet?

Answer

The content of the Excel spreadsheet varies by entity type. The following table lists the tabs that appear in the Excel spreadsheet for each application based on corresponding options that are marked in Screen OrgOptns in the Organizer folder.

  • Officer Information - displays the officer's name, address, position and title.
  • Contributor Information - displays the contributor's name and address.

  • Beneficiary Information - displays the beneficiary's name, address, and other information.
  • Income Sources - lists the payers or activity names that existed in Screens Income, C, F, K1, K1T, and Rent in the prior-year return.
  • Rental Income - lists the income and expenses for prior-year rental activities.

  • Partner Information - displays the partner's name, address, and other information.
  • Changes of Ownership - used for the client to indicate any changes in partner ownership during the year.

  • Shareholder Information - displays the S Corporation and IC-DISC shareholder's name, address, and other information.
  • Shareholder Basis - used for the client to indicate any capital contributions during the year, new loans made to the S Corporation, or any loan repayments.
  • Changes of Ownership - used for the client to indicate any changes in the shareholder ownership during the year.
  • Officers - displays the officer's name address, and other information. Also includes a column for the client to include the officer's compensation.
  • Income & Deductions - displays either a template for entering trade or business income and expenses, or prior-year data entered in Screen Inc in the Income & Deductions folder, depending on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Separate Income and Deductions - displays either a template for entering separately reported income and deductions for an S Corporation, or prior-year data entered in Screen K in the Schedule K folder, depending on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Cost of Goods Sold - displays either a template for entering cost of goods sold, or prior-year data entered in Screen A in the Income & Deductions folder, depending on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Assets - displays either a template for entering corporate asset information, or the beginning-of-year assets entered in Screen L in the Balance Sheet folder, depending on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Liabilities and Equity - displays either a template for entering corporate liability and equity information, or the beginning-of-year liabilities and equity entered in Screen L-2 in the Balance Sheet folder, depending on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Farm - displays either a template for entering farm income and expenses, or prior-year data entered in Screens F and F-2 in the Farm folder, depending on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Farm Rent - displays either a template for entering farm rental income and expenses, or prior-year data entered in Screens 4835 and 4835-2 in the Farm Rental folder depending, on the display condition selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Rent - displays either a template for entering rental income and expenses, or prior-year data entered in Screen Rent in the Rent & Royalty folder, depending on the display conditions selected in Screen OrgOptns.
  • Estimated Pmts - displays the estimates set up for the client in the prior year.
  • Bank - displays the bank information from the prior-year return.
  • Vehicle Mileage and Vehicle Questions - used for the client to indicate the mileage driven during the year and answer the vehicle questions if vehicles are owned.
  • Asset Purchases and Asset Sales - used for the client to indicate any asset purchases made during the year, or any sale of assets.
  • Employee Health Ins - displays the employees proforma'd from the Employee and insurance coverage information statement in Screen GBC-7 in the Credits folder.
