MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Thomson Reuters is committed to proactively evolving our security features to help you protect your firm and your clients' data. For more information about multi-factor authentication, see Multi-factor authentication overview.

The Electronic filing transmission status - Live! section of the UltraTax CS Home Page provides the live status of electronic files that you have transmitted via CS Connect but for which you are awaiting acknowledgments.

To access the Electronic filing transmission status - Live! section, click the Home Page button in the upper-right corner of the toolbar, and then click the Electronic Filing Live link.

Note: You must have an active internet connection to view the live status of electronic files. To maintain an active connection, choose Utilities > CS Connect, click the Communication Setup button, click the Direct (LAN) connection to internet option, and mark the Internet connection is always online checkbox.

This section provides the following information.
