MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

Thomson Reuters is committed to proactively evolving our security features to help you protect your firm and your clients' data. For more information about multi-factor authentication, see Multi-factor authentication overview.

Error Code CSUSAZ: An Employer Identification Number (EIN) entered in Setup > System Configuration > Firm, the EIN must be 9 digits. Do not enter your Electronic Filer Identification Number (EFIN) in this field.

This error indicates the EIN entered is not 9 digits, so you'll want to verify that the firm's EIN has been correctly entered in Setup > System Configuration > Firm. Once entered correctly, you can recreate the electronic file.
