MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

Error Code IND-515: The Primary SSN in the Return Header must not be equal to the Primary SSN in another return filed for the same tax year.

This error is generated because the SSN used for the taxpayer has already been used for a taxpayer on another return. Verify on Screen 1040, located under the General folder, that the taxpayer's SSN is correct. If it is correct, you will need to contact the IRS at 866.255.0654 to inquire about the SSN in question and procedures for paper filing. If the SSN is incorrect, correct it and then re-create and resubmit the e-file.
