Error Code CSUS 01: Consolidated client is missing the following component returns: CLIENTID. When filing consolidated returns, ALL clients included in the return must be marked to file electronically, and selected to print. Refer to the Electronic filing FAQ (1120) "How do I electronically file a consolidated C corporation return?" for more information.

The client mentioned in the CSI error more than likely has a different tax year ending than the rest of the returns that are included in the consolidated return. All returns included in the consolidated return must have the same year end for electronic filing. Starting with 2010 UltraTax CS a critical diagnostic has been added to the consolidated return:
