Error code R0000-035-01: The 'TaxPeriodEndDt' in the Return Header must be less than the Received Date. (value YYYY-MM-DD, rule R0000-035-01).

This rejection indicates that the tax year end date within the rejected return is after the date on which the electronic file was received by the IRS. For example, a fiscal year return with a year end date of April 30 must be received by the IRS after April 30. To correct this rejection, first verify that the date in the Tax year ending (if different from 12/31/2017 field is correct on Screen 1120 in the General folder. Change the date as appropriate; then re-create and retransmit the e-file at least one day after the tax year end date.
