MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access the electronic filing transmission feature in CS Connect.

CSUS000 may create one or a variation of the following error messages: 

Note: By looking at the “element” and “value” in the error message you may determine what input needs correction. For example, the SignerID may be referenced as the element. This would indicate that the entry for the User ID for the administrator or sponsor on Screen ELF needs correction. The value should show the current input in the field and you may also be able to determine what field needs correction by the value that is displayed. In addition, many of these errors can be corrected by accessing Screen ELF, choosing Edit > Delete screen data and then completing Screen ELF again.

The e-file has failed Schema validation with the following errors: The 'http://efast.govActrlActryEnrlmtNum' element is invalid. Etc The pattern constraint failed.

The e-file has failed schema validation with the following error: The http://efast.gov:SignerId' element is invalid - The value 'AAAAAAA' is invalid according to is datatype 'http://efast.gov:UserIdType' - The Pattern constraint failed.

The e-file has failed schema validation with the following errors: The 'http://efast.gov:FilingId' element is invalid - The value '123456789' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://efast.gov: FilingIdType' - The Pattern constraint failed.

The element 'SponsorSignature' in namespace 'http://efast.gov' has invalid child element 'SignedName' in namespace 'http://efast.gov'.List of possible elements expected: 'SignerId' in namespace 'http://efast.gov'.

The Accountants Opinion.PDF is invalid according to its datatype. Invalid character in a Base-64 string. The e-file attachment called "Accountant's Opinion": The name of the PDF cannot have an apostrophe in the word "Accountants".

The Year certified field on Screen MBSB, located under the Actuary folder, must be 11 or 14.

Electronically sign Form 5500 via the UltraTax CS provided Web Portal

If the website electronic signature option was used and the error message contains the EIN number, access Screen ELF, located under Electronic Filing folder, and delete screen data by choosing Edit > Delete Screen Data. Re-select the website electronic signer options.

If the direct signer electronic signature method was used, the signer ID and PIN are invalid. Obtain the correct signer ID and PIN. Delete Screen data, Edit > Delete Screen Data, and enter the signer ID and PIN. The Signer ID number and PIN are issued by the Department of Labor (DOL). Refer to Registering for electronic credentials overview for registration information.
