MFA required for electronic filing

Effective May 3rd, the 2017 version of UltraTax CS requires multi-factor authentication (MFA) to transmit e-files from CS Connect. Find out more.

The NY CT-5 and CT-13 (extension and return for Unrelated Business Income) can be electronically filed.

*The CHAR 500 cannot be electronically filed using UltraTax CS. However, Form CHAR500 can be filed electronically using the online system provided by the Attorney General's office through the website Form990.org. This online filing also requires filing of IRS Form 990 at the same time. In addition, depending upon the amount of the organizations gross receipts, this filing may not be free.

The announcement from the NY Attorney General can be found here: http://www.ag.ny.gov/press-release/ag-schneiderman-announces-electronic-filing-charities.
