Error code F990-902-01: The "EIN" in the return must have been established as an exempt organization return filer in the e-file database.

This rejection is indicating the IRS does not have this EIN associated as an exempt organization in their e-File database. Verify the EIN has been entered correctly under File > Client Properties. If it is incorrect, enter the correct EIN and then recreate and resubmit the electronic file. If the EIN has been entered correctly, then you'll need to contact the IRS at 800.829.4933 for assistance. If this e-File database error cannot be resolved, the return will need to be filed on paper.
