IRS Phone Number for Business Name Control Rejections

The IRS has established the Business & Specialty Help Line to aid in resolving name control rejections for non-1040 e-files. The IRS further recommends that business taxpayers who are in doubt as to the correct name control for use when electronically filing should contact the IRS at this phone number for verification prior to filing. The toll-free number is 800.829.4933.
